BELFOR UK has appointed Novuna Vehicle Solutions as its trusted partner for all fleet requirements. The company will support the property restoration and disaster recovery specialist with a comprehensive fleet management solution designed to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and support the needs of its drivers and stakeholders.

With more than 35 years’ experience, BELFOR UK is the leading property restoration and disaster recovery specialist, supporting businesses and homeowners in recovering from fire, flood, storm and other unforeseen events. Its comprehensive range of services includes technical drying, mould remediation, machinery and electronics restoration, major loss project management, and full end-to-end reinstatement works.

As part of the new partnership, Novuna has taken full responsibility for managing 254 legacy assets, including 15 company cars and 239 light commercial vehicles – an operationally critical fleet supporting BELFOR UK’s restoration and reinstatement work across the UK. In 2026, 84 vehicles are scheduled for replacement, helping to build a modern, efficient and reliable fleet that enables the BELFOR UK teams to deliver their services. Novuna provides BELFOR UK with full fleet management support, alongside daily rental solutions, helping the business address key challenges around cost control, vehicle downtime and operational resilience.

A key part of the transition is Novuna’s focus on embedding a true fleet operator mindset across its internal teams. To support this, Novuna is hosting a dedicated engagement day at its Trowbridge site, where operational colleagues will have the opportunity to see one of a brand-new batch of 84 converted vans before they go into operation.

This hands-on approach will help ensure Novuna colleagues are fully prepared to support BELFOR UK drivers and stakeholders throughout the transition and in-life management of the fleet by understanding the remit of the vehicles, their operation, the equipment they carry and the work they do.

The vehicles have been converted for BELFOR UK’s restoration and reinstatement operations in partnership with City West, Maxus Technical and Modul Systems. Designed as mobile response units, they enable BELFOR UK technicians to travel quickly to sites affected by floods, fires, storms and other incidents, carrying the specialist tools and equipment needed to begin work straight away. This includes equipment for drying, water extraction, air filtration, cleaning, and contamination removal, helping teams stabilise the environment, limit further damage, and start the restoration process as efficiently as possible.

BELFOR UK selected Novuna for its operational excellence, knowledgeable teams and customer-first culture. Following a visit to Novuna’s Trowbridge site, BELFOR UK highlighted the calm, positive and knowledgeable environment across the office, with the customer-first culture clearly standing out.

Jon Lawes, Managing Director, Novuna Vehicle Solutions said:

“BELFOR UK operates a highly important, operationally critical fleet, supporting customers at some of the most challenging moments they may face. Our role is to ensure their drivers and stakeholders receive the right support, the right vehicles and the right expertise to keep their operations moving.

“This partnership is a true example of how we bring together operational excellence, customer focus and practical fleet expertise. The Trowbridge engagement day is an important part of that approach, giving our teams the opportunity to see the vehicles first-hand, understand BELFOR UK’s operational needs and ensure we are fully prepared to deliver an outstanding in-life experience.”

Neil Martin, Head of Fleet, BELFOR UK said:

“Our fleet is essential to the work we do every day, helping us reach customers across the UK when they need us most. We appointed Novuna for their operational expertise, culture, and clear commitment to understanding our business.

“The transition gives us confidence that our drivers and operational teams will have the vehicle availability, cost control, and service quality needed to keep our services running efficiently as we modernise our fleet and continue to deliver fast, reliable restoration services for our customers.”

The partnership marks an important step in supporting BELFOR UK’s future fleet strategy, helping to improve reliability, control costs and provide a strong platform for continued operational delivery across the UK.
